fantasista begins construction of grid-scale battery storage station in Shiga Prefecture

fantasista began construction on October 14, 2026 of "fantasista nagahama PSS", a 1,999kW / 7,521kWh grid-scale battery station in Nagahama, Shiga, its group's second such project. Completion is planned for March 2027 and operation for April 2027, with Kansai Electric subsidiary E-Flow as aggregator and PowerX batteries. The company is also pursuing an extra-high-voltage project, "fantasista tokyo PSS", in Inagi, Tokyo.
