Marubeni Shin-Denryoku and Sun Village announced that all four of their jointly pursued grid-scale battery projects in Tochigi and Saitama prefectures had entered the balancing market by September 2026. The projects total 8MW of output and 32MWh of storage capacity. Sun Village develops and owns the sites, while Marubeni Shin-Denryoku acts as aggregator.
