PowerX announced on February 9, 2026 that it will supply 18 battery storage units totaling 48.6MWh to six grid-scale storage sites developed by Nomuraya Holdings in Nagano, Gifu and Shizuoka prefectures. The sites will connect to the TEPCO or Chubu Electric areas and begin commercial operation in phases from spring 2026.
