Tamagawa Holdings' grid-scale battery storage station in Miyama, Fukuoka begins operation; acquisition cost ¥680 million

多摩川ホールディングス、福岡・みやまの系統用蓄電所が運転開始　取得額6.8億円

Tamagawa Holdings announced on August 31 that its subsidiary Tamagawa Energy completed acquisition of a grid-scale battery storage station in Miyama, Fukuoka, which began operating the same day. The roughly 2MW/8MWh facility, the group's first, cost about ¥684 million and will seek entry to the balancing market. The start brings forward the company's mid-term plan, and a second project in Iga, Mie is also underway.
